The Honda Civic 2020 is the top of Tiva’s sedan range. It’s bigger, lower and more planted on the road than the City or Vios, and it’s the one to pick if you actually enjoy driving. It’s RM280/day for 1–2 days, or RM260/day for 3–29 days.
It’s automatic, seats 5 and takes about 3 bags, with a RM300 deposit. It’s comfortable for a long drive up the Pan Borneo Highway to Miri, and it still looks right when you pull up for a business dinner.
FAQs
1. Is the Civic worth paying more than the City 2023?
If you’re doing long drives or want more presence, yes. The Civic is a size up, with a roomier, more refined cabin, for RM40/day more (RM260 vs RM220 for 3–29 days). For city driving only, the City does the job.
2. Can I drive the Civic to Miri or into Brunei?
Yes. Outstation fees are charged once per rental: RM600 for Miri or Batu Niah, and RM1,000 for Brunei. If you’re crossing into Brunei, check with Tiva on the documents you’ll need before you set off.
